花は鮮やかに　蝶は艶やかに
Hana wa azayaka ni chou wa adeyaka ni
The flowers are vivid, the butterflies are elegant
限りある命　燃えゆく
Kagiri aru inochi moeyuku
I will continue to burn during my limited life
限り在る時を　君へと誓おう
Kagiri aru toki wo kimi e to chikaou
I swear to you the rest of the limited time I possess
この天上天下に　永久を共に生きると
Kono tenjou tenge ni towa wo tomo ni ikiru to
Throughout this heaven and earth, I will live together with you in eternity

運命を終えて　流れ落つ夜の星
Sadame wo oete nagareotsu yoru no hoshi
After your destiny has been fulfilled, the stars fall in the night
いつか消えるその日まで　輝けるよに
Itsuka kieru sono hi made kagayakeru yo ni
I wish that they will continue to shine until the day they disappear

千年変わらずに　愛を誓うなら
Sennen kawarazu ni ai wo chikau nara
If I am to swear to you my love, it will not change in a thousand years
喜びも悲しみも永久にともに分かちあえるから
Yorokobi mo kanashimi mo towa ni tomo ni wakachiaeru kara
We can share our joys and sorrows together in eternity

風はたおやかに　月はたださやか
Kaze wa taoyaka ni tsuki wa tada sayaka
The wind is graceful, the moon is just bright
神々のいたずらのよに
Kamigami no itazura no yo ni
Just like the mischief of the gods
はかなき世界で　この身の在処を
Hakanaki sekai de kono mi no arika wo
In this fleeting world, the place where I belong
この胸に宿すのだ　ああ愛の灯火を
Kono mune ni yadosu no da aa ai no tomoshibi wo
Will be held in this heart together with this light of love

水面に映る　銀色の月の船
Minamo ni utsuru giniro no tsuki no fune
The silver boat of the moon is reflected in the surface of the water
波のまにま　揺れ動く　夢幻の彼方
Nami no manima yureugoku mugen no kanata
The dreams of the the unknown tremble at the mercy of the waves
幾年変わらずに　いられるものなど
Ikunen kawarazu ni irareru mono nado
There is nothing that stays unchanged in many years that pass
ないことを　知りながら　永久を求める　悲しき性よ
Nai koto wo shirinagara towa wo motomeru kanashiki saga yo
While knowing of a destiny of only joy does not exist, I seek eternity

Furikaerazu ni tomo ni ayumou sagashimotomeru towa no negai wo
Let's walk together without turning back towards the wish of eternity that we are seeking

もしも許されるなら　あなたを奪い去りたい
Moshimo yurusareru nara anata wo ubaisaritai
If it can be forgiven, I would like to steal you away
声を殺す刹那が　闇夜に浮かんだ
Koe wo korosu setsuna ga yamiyo ni ukanda
Taking only a moment to muffle my voice made us become suspended by the dark night

せめてこの一瞬は
Semete kono toki wa
At least for one second
月影に隠れ　くちづけをかわそう
Tsukikage ni kakure kuchizuke wo kawasou
Let's exchange kisses while we are hidden by the moonlight

十六夜の空に　あなたを抱きよせた
Izayoi no sora ni anata wo dakiyoseta
I held you close under the sky of the sixteen day old moon
短い逢瀬の　切なさ
Mijikai ouse no setsunasa
The sorrow of a short rendezvous
